Meet Christin Aucutt, ARNP​

Hello, I'm Christin, and I'd love to share a bit about why we decided to open our own clinic.
My journey in emergency services began in 1991. I’ve worked in various roles and most recently served as a nurse practitioner in a busy ER. Originally from Lake of the Ozarks, MO, I spent many years in Tampa, Florida, before moving to Cedar Rapids, Iowa, in 2018.

Working in a high-pressure ER meant limited time with patients—an experience that left me longing to offer more personal and impactful care. That’s when my husband and I took a leap of faith and opened Elan Vital Wellness Clinic, a place where health care is about people. Here, we make time for every individual and provide evidence-based care in a warm, supportive environment.

Together, we’ve built this clinic while raising our large blended family. We have mostly grown children, a first grader, and a special needs daughter who keeps us grounded and motivated. This journey has been one of faith, love, and purpose. I believe wellness comes from nurturing the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—and I strive to make a difference in each patient’s life.

Meet Dr. Matthew Aucutt, D.O.​​

My name is Dr. Matthew Aucutt.  I am Doctor of Osteopathy with deep roots in Cedar Rapids, Iowa—both as a lifelong resident and as a dedicated medical professional. For the past 22 years, I have served on the front lines of emergency medicine, expertly diagnosing and treating critical health conditions.

 

With Élan Vital, I plan to expand my focus to proactive wellness. My passion lies in helping individuals not only avoid illness but truly thrive. Drawing on my extensive medical background in holistic osteopathic training, I would like to guide patients in optimizing their health, enhancing their vitality, and aging with strength, balance, and confidence.
